Hagley partners are delighted to announce that we have merged with six other GP surgeries in Wyre Forest; Bewdley Medical Centre, Church Street Surgery, Stourport Health Centre, York House Medical Centre, Forest Glades Medical Centre and Kidderminster Health Centre.
We are now called Wyre Forest Health Partnership, and have 38 GP Partners with 203 staff looking after 73 000 patients.
The NHS is facing challenges and we believe that this merger will enable us to continue to provide good quality care now and into the future. Our size means we will be able to specialise, and develop further expertise both amongst clinicians and management. We will be able to learn from other sites, and share best practice. We will be able to introduce new clinical services as looking after a large number of patients makes this possible.
There are no plans to reduce sites, and patients registered here will continue to contact the surgery as before.
Wyre Forest Health Partnership values patient opinion. A Patient Representative now sits on the Partnership Board, which oversees the smooth running of the organisation. The Partners believe it is important that the patients’ opinions should be included at the centre of the Partnership’s decision making.
Wyre Forest Health Partnership will also continue to work with the Patient Groups at each site, to obtain patient and carer opinion about our services.
